Tribeca Partners Acquires Suma Emergencias S.A.

Tribeca Partners investment fund informs the public that it has acquired SUMA EMERGENCIAS S.A., a medical homecare service that offers state of the art technology and modern mobile intensive care units for house calls and medical emergencies in Bogotá.

This Colombian healthcare service has been in operation for over 12 years, and has a staff of 150 professionals in different fields. Thanks to its high quality service, SUMA EMERGENCIAS S.A. has over 45,000 registered users in the nation`s capital.

This past May, Tribeca Partners acquired full control of the business consortium that makes up Emergencia Médica Integral (EMI). The businesses include:

• EMI Colombia
• EMI Antioquia
• Trasmédicos
• Médicos en su casa,
• EMI Ecuador and EMI Venezuela.

In August, Tribeca Partners signed a deal to acquire a majority share of Unidad Coronaria Médica (UCM), one of the foremost home healthcare providers in the MERCOSUR, a leader in the Uruguayan healthcare sector, and with presence in Brazil.

With these acquisitions, Tribeca Partners continues to make significant inroads in the strategic sector of healthcare in Colombia and Latin America.
